Job Summary
Cakum Global is recruiting a Broiler Department Manager for our client based near Lae Papua New Guinea.
Role Overview:
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing broiler farming operations driving production performance and ensuring high standards in animal welfare biosecurity and operational efficiency across multiple farm sites.
Key Highlights
- Lead and manage all broiler farm operations and farm managers
- Drive production targets performance improvement and cost control
- Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity welfare and environmental standards
- Monitor key KPIs including growth mortality and feed conversion ratios
- Collaborate with hatchery feedmill processing and logistics teams
- Develop team capability through coaching training and succession planning
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Agriculture Animal Science or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in broiler or poultry management
- Strong leadership experience managing multiple farm operations
- Deep understanding of biosecurity animal welfare and production systems
- Data-driven with strong reporting and performance analysis skills
- Experience in integrated poultry operations highly regarded
