At Logan Health our Hematology & Oncology team provides specialized care and support for patients facing cancer and blood disorders. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused specialty clinic. We are also willing to consider a Medical Assistant Trainee who is eager to learn values meaningful patient interactions and is committed to providing compassionate high-quality care.

What Youll Be Doing

Greet room and prepare patients for examinations and treatments including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.

Assist providers during examinations procedures and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Perform competency-validated clinical tasks and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

Coordinate patient care activities including referrals diagnostic testing prior authorizations scheduling and follow-up appointments.

Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms equipment and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

Willing to Consider:

Medical Assistant Trainee:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Registered Medical Assistant credential within six (6) months of hire required.

Shift:

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week. This position works four 10-hour day shifts per week.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
