What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications):
Education and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience providing non-professional services within a mental health healthcare or social service agency.
Preferred Experience: One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital skilled nursing facility or related medical setting including knowledge of therapeutic diet preparation.
Certifications & Licensure: Must possess a valid California Drivers License and a current ServSafe Food Handler Certification.

Physical Requirement: Must be able to physically lift and carry food service supplies and equipment without restriction.
How you will make a difference:
This position has primary responsibility for coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); preparing meals and snacks shopping for food and other various life skills. Assist with and supervise meal preparation by current applicable federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations. Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and the facilities are maintained safely and cleanly. Assist with client laundry household cleaning and other tasks as needed. This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean orderly sanitary and attractive condition.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18-59 experiencing a psychiatric crisis safely stabilize recover and transition back to the community.
Services include:
24/7 program
Therapeutic and mental health services
Rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation)
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
Daily exercise and health/wellness education
