Job Summary

General Functions Specific Responsibilities and Authority:

Routine laboratory maintenance propagating bacterial cultures preparation of general laboratory duties such as preparing media and reagents labeling plates and tube and re-stocking supplies.
Works within established SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Maintains adequate inventory control of media and reagents as required for laboratory operations.
Assists in the qualification and validation of equipment and lab instruments including calibration.
Responsible for maintaining laboratory notebooks and ensuring all documentation is performed under GDP guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge Education and Skills Required:

BS degree in Microbiology/Biological Sciences/Chemistry with related science experience
1-2 years of laboratory experience
