Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) School-Based Location: Ridgecrest CA 93555 Contract Duration: 4 Weeks Schedule: Monday Friday Shift: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM (Day Shift) Hours: 5 billable hours per day (40 hours/week)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide school-based support to students in an educational setting. The RBT will work under the supervision of a behavior analyst or designated school professional to implement behavior intervention strategies and promote positive academic behavioral and social development.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by supervising staff
Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to students
Accurately collect and document behavioral data during sessions
Support students in developing communication social and academic skills
Assist in maintaining appropriate classroom behavior aligned with school policies
Collaborate with teachers behavioral specialists and school staff
Maintain a structured safe and supportive learning environment
Adhere to confidentiality and professional standards within the school setting
Report student progress and behavioral concerns to supervising personnel
Reinforce positive behavior strategies and interventions
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Active RBT certification preferred/required (based on assignment needs)
Prior experience working with children in educational or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow structured behavior intervention plans accurately
Patience empathy and strong classroom management abilities
Ability to consistently work a MondayFriday morning schedule
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
