Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal ICU (NICU) team at a leading healthcare facility in Mayfield Heights OH. The NICU provides care for critically ill newborns and infants and the nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of care for these patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
Perform assessments and monitor the condition of newborns with critical health needs.
Administer medications assist with procedures and provide specialized nursing interventions.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate families on the care of their infant supporting them emotionally and providing clear instructions.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning adhering to safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 18 months of recent NICU Level III experience.
Required Certifications: BLS PALS NRP.
Permanent Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores are required).
