Service Coordinator

We are a leader in the design manufacturing installation and servicing of a diverse line of controlled environmental chambers. Our walk-in rooms and reach-in chambers are specifically constructed to maintain the stringent environmental conditions required for a wide range of specialized research development and manufacturing activities.

Environmental Specialties has a need for an experienced Field Dispatcher at our Raleigh office.Assist in the daily management of dispatch schedules of field technicians to customer facilities factoring in customer requirements technician experience type of repair and location. This position will also provide processing for billing and payrolling of work performed and time to be paid.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from customers and record all needed information for technicians to start repairs.
• Communicate each day with Service Technicians on progress of service call status and update schedule accordingly

• Communicate with customers about technician ETAs keeping open lines of communication to provide updates as necessary
• Resolve customer issues/problems
• Follow up on all outgoing shipments (sales orders job parts etc)
• Coordinate all service Technicians travel arrangements per schedule

• Accurately open work orders in our software System with information given by the customer and/or field personnel including correct Purchase Order (PO) number or account number the job is charged to.
• Use scheduler program to maintain a log of all field technicians location at any given time.
• Review timecards to make sure all time charged is in the correct segment / work order. Help enforce timecards and service reports being turned in on time.

• Heavy background in administrative support of a dispatch role
• Prior experience dispatching Service Technicians in construction especially HVAC equipment industry preferred or other comparable industry
• Strong communication organizational & time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment juggling & prioritizing multiple tasks at a time.

• Strong problem-solving skills strong sense of responsibility self-motivated with the ability to work as part of the service team.
• Driven attitude with solid work ethic and eagerness to take on whatever demands arise
