Tax Senior Dallas Texas Full Time Salary Range (65k-85k) 3-5 years Experience Hybrid (preferred)
Overview: A Tax Senior prepares and reviews individual and business tax returns supports client relationships and ensures accurate and timely filings. This role fits someone who wants steady growth hands on experience and a clear path to advancement in public accounting.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and review individual corporate partnership and trust returns Prepare amended returns extensions and tax projections Conduct tax research and respond to federal and state notices Review client information for completeness and accuracy Communicate with clients regarding tax matters Stay current with tax law changes
Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation CPA eligible with enough hours to sit for the exam Three to five years of public accounting tax experience Strong communication and time management skills Candidates currently in public accounting strongly preferred
Compensation and CPA Support Salary range is 65k to 85k plus bonus (DOE) Firm pays CPA exam sitting fees Firm pays CPA license fee Firm provides book discounts or reimbursement for study materials Firm sets aside funds to support the CPA process If a staff member sits once and passes they may have about 2k left for personal use
Growth and Promotion Promotion is performance based Typical promotion cycle is August but promotions can occur at any time if the staff member is ready Firm creates openings when needed and does not limit advancement based on headcount Strong history of internal growth including staff who began as interns and advanced to partner within seven years
