Job Title: Registered Nurse PCU (MSDU)
Location: Rochester NY
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PCU / Med-Surg Stepdown Registered Nurse (MSDU RN) to provide high-quality evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced intermediate care environment. This unit serves a diverse adult acute care population requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care for Med-Surg and Stepdown patients
Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
Manage IV therapies including titratable infusions
Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation
Care for patients with arterial lines central lines and telemetry monitoring
Perform patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC

Requirements:

Active New York State RN License (must be in hand)
Minimum 1 year of PCU / Stepdown / Med-Surg experience
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NIHSS (required at submission if available)
EPIC experience required
