Job Type: Contract (Local or Travel)
Duration: 9 Weeks
Shift & Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour shifts (37.5 hours per week)
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced CNA / Nurse Assistant to join an Acute Care Float team within a Hospital at Home this role you will deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment while supporting clinical teams and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist with daily living activities including hygiene mobility and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status
- Support care coordination within the Hospital at Home model
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to care protocols
- Ensure a clean safe and organized patient environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience OR Certified Long-Term Care Nurse Assistant
- Previous nurse aide experience in a hospital setting or completion of an accredited Nurse Aide training program
- OR currently enrolled in a BSN program (junior level or completion of at least one clinical practicum)
- BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- CNA Certification (preferred where applicable)
Certifications & Licenses
- BLS Certification (required)
- CNA Certification (preferred)
