Job Summary

The Vice President of Product Marketing leads all product marketing for Lone Wolf owning the positioning messaging competitive intelligence and go-to-market strategy that connect product value to market opportunity. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of product sales and marketing serving as the strategic voice of the market inside the organization and the voice of the product outside it. The VP owns the master messaging architecture drives product launch strategy and builds the narrative that wins deals staying close to brokers and agents so that every position is grounded in real customer needs. The VP sets the standard for how Lone Wolf is positioned across all buyer segments and channels from individual agents to the largest brokerages and enterprise franchise networks and builds and leads the product marketing team that delivers it.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Set the strategic direction for all product positioning messaging and go-to-market programs

Own the master messaging architecture across all products segments and buyer personas

Lead product launch strategy and drive cross-functional GTM readiness end-to-end

Drive competitive intelligence strategy; translate market signals into positioning advantage and sales enablement

Collaborate with Demand Generation on the campaign brief by defining positioning audience value proposition and key proof points that feed Demand Gen execution.

Manage and develop the Product Marketing team; set performance standards for the full PMM function

Partner with Sales Engineering to ensure demo narratives and enablement materials reflect current market positioning

Collaborate with Product on roadmap input informed by market customer and competitive insights

Conduct win/loss analysis and synthesize customer and market insights into actionable strategy

Build the strategic narrative and story for enterprise sales pitches; partner with Sales on high-value enterprise-level pursuits and consult directly with prospects to shape tailored solutions that solve their business challenges.

Lead an ongoing voice-of-customer practice regularly talk with customers and prospects to understand the day-to-day needs of brokers and agents and translate those insights into sharper positioning messaging and roadmap influence.

Own positioning and go-to-market strategy for the enterprise and brokerage segments ensuring the story resonates across the full audience from individual agents to broker-owners team leaders and franchise executives.

Own pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product Sales and Finance to maximize adoption and revenue across segments.

Serve as the executive voice of the market to senior leadership and build scale and lead a high-performing product marketing organization.

Collaborate with our Customer Advisory Board and develop our customer reference program to deepen market insight and generate credible proof points.

REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated ability to develop differentiated creative positioning that breaks through category noise.

Deep evidence-based understanding of buyer psychology the buying journey and customer pain points built through direct customer engagement win/loss interviews and ongoing market immersion not just second hand data.

Track record of developing value propositions that are specific differentiated and defensible not generic benefit statements. Must be able to articulate why a customer would choose Lone Wolf over any alternative including doing nothing.

Writes and speaks in the language buyers actually use not product language or internal jargon. Can demonstrate this through samples of positioning docs web copy sales narratives or customer-facing content.

Deep competitive fluency in the technology space real estate tech a plus.

Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills can distill complex strategy into a clear compelling story for any audience from an executive briefing to a sales kickoff to a customer advisory board

Proven ability to partner with Sales on enterprise and strategic pursuits building the pitch narrative joining customer conversations and consulting with prospects to shape solutions that win the deal.

Experience leading scaling and developing a product marketing team setting performance standards and operating as a senior cross-functional leader who influences product sales and executive decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA a plus

EXPERIENCE: 10 years of marketing experience including 7 years in product marketing in a B2B SaaS environment with at least 3 years leading and building teams. Demonstrated experience marketing to enterprise buyers and partnering on enterprise sales pursuits required. Experience in real estate proptech or a vertically-focused SaaS company strongly preferred.

$250000 - $270000 a year
