Responsibilities
Produces reviews proofs and delivers translations of hospital documents such as medical record forms patient education materials and marketing materials from English into the target language as assigned by the coordinator.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. High school diploma equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
2. Certification in foreign language translation - from one (1) of the following professional
training programs or certifications (i.e. Rapid Translate RushTranslate the American
Translators Association (ATA) or Certified Translation Professional (CTP) OR
Bachelors Degree or higher-level degree in Translation or Linguistics.
3. Two (2) years experience translating proofreading and editing medical materials from
English to the target language in a medical setting customer service advocacy or related
field
