- Maintain constant surveillance of all patrons in the facility
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and safety concerns
- Communicate and enforce facility rules fairly and consistently
- Provide emergency care and treatment until emergency medical services arrive
- Contact EMS or emergency personnel when necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Deliver outstanding customer service to students and families
- Complete accident and incident reports as required
- Help maintain a clean organized and safe facility
- Assist with closing and securing the facility
- Work one Swim Instructor shift per week
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Lifeguard CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred
- Goldfish Swim School can provide lifeguard certification training for qualified candidates
- Preferred minimum of 6 months of lifeguarding experience at an aquatic facility or camp
Certificates & Licenses
- Must maintain current Lifeguarding certification
- Must maintain current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and responsible mindset
- Passion for working with children and families
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
