Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in area of responsibility.
Must have SE edorsement.
Bachelors Degree in area of major study.

JOB GOAL:
To devise and implement individualized programs for students who have special needs which prevent them from learning through traditional means.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with timelines laws and regulations that relate to district state federal policies and procedures.
Monitor and document student progress on IEP goals.
Collaborate with all service providers and other staff to develop instruction and support goals that are designed to meet the learning needs of students.
Compile and submit monthly Medicaid reports.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
Participate in building meetings as directed by the building principal.
Performs other duties as requested by the Assistant Superintendent or Building Principal.
