The Summer Camp Nurse is responsible for providing first aid care to injured teens (14 17 years old) and/or Kids (10-13 years old) campers. The summer camp nurse will also be in close communication with our Covid-19 Campus Task force to ensure all campers are in line with campus policies and to assist in testing and or safety protocols if and when necessary.
This is a Seasonal Full-Time position from June 29 2026 through August 14 2026.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Care for sick or injured campers
Provide first aid for minor injuries and illnesses
Sort and dispense medications to campers
Respond to any emergency that may arise
Set up and stock the nurses office
Assist in collecting and organize all camper pre-entry covid requirements
Maintain updated health logs and incident reports
Ensure immunizations on file are up to date
Maintain communication with camps and directors at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
Ability to work with diverse groups of students staff and community members
Ability to work hard and respond to emergencies
Must have good verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Must enjoy working in a team environment and also with children.
Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse must be a certified licensed nurse
Current certifications in CPR Professional and Advance First Aid including child & adult.
Understanding of food allergies and administration of Epi-pen.
Knowledge of common childhood illnesses rashes and communicable disease common to youth and summer camp setting
