As aHealth Unit Coordinator (HUC)atAllina Health Restorative Suitesyou will be transcribing provider and admission orders maintaining accurate data scheduling appointments and transportation and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure coordinated carte.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Type:On-Call

Shifts Available (Including Rotating Holidays):
Days 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Wage Range: $20 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) responsibilities:

• Enter physicians orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedulemedical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents family members and facility visitors.
• Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

• 2 years experience as a healthunit coordinator or health information certification desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not needed.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced multi-taskenvironment.
• PointClickCare experience preferred.
