Job Title: Registered Nurse Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal NY
Type: Contract 16 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: Day & Evening Shifts 5x8 Hours Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Vestal NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient-centered care to residents in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Monitor and document vital signs reporting any condition changes
• Deliver care to patients with Alzheimers and dementia
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with facility policies procedures and safety standards
• Support daily resident care activities and overall clinical operations
• Deliver compassionate respectful and patient-focused nursing care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care Rehab or Med-Surg preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
