Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school setting. The position involves providing speech therapy services to middle and high school students with a focus on American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency. Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Texas SLP license.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech therapy services to middle and high school students
Collaborate with 23 other SLPs per campus to manage a balanced caseload
Work with students who have communication disorders helping them improve speech language and social communication skills
Supervise and support Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable
Maintain appropriate documentation for therapy sessions and student progress
Requirements:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
Texas SLP license (or in the process of obtaining)
Experience with middle and high school age groups
Ability to manage a collaborative caseload with balanced workloads
Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) supervision provided for CFs
