Location: Hyannis MA 02601 United States Job Type: Travel / Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Rotating Days Every Other Weekend & Holiday
Position Summary:
Responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions across a variety of clinical settings. This role involves critical care support emergency response and the administration of life-saving respiratory therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer oxygen therapy aerosol medications and ventilator support
Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment
Perform diagnostic procedures including ABGs and pulmonary function testing
Respond to emergency situations such as codes and rapid response events
Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to develop care plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
Active Respiratory Therapist license (Massachusetts)
