Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists with patient care diagnostic testing and clinical operations in a fast-paced eye care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform eye exams (visual field ocular motility color vision tonometry pupil assessment)
Assist with intraocular pressure and pharmacological testing
Manage patient flow collect medical history and coordinate imaging/tests
Educate patients and address questions
Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment (slit lamp keratometer etc.)
Prepare and sterilize instruments; assist in minor procedures and surgeries
Ensure clean safe and organized clinical environment
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ophthalmic Technician Certification (Required)
Strong communication multitasking and organizational skills
