Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated EEG Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based Diagnostic Neurology unit. This role focuses on performing inpatient electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to support the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong inpatient neurodiagnostic experience looking to expand their clinical exposure in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform EEG studies to monitor and record brain electrical activity
Prepare patients and apply electrodes ensuring accurate signal acquisition
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to clinical changes as needed
Assist physicians in the diagnosis of neurological disorders
Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment
Accurately document test results in patient medical records
Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure patient safety comfort and adherence to care protocols
Follow infection control standards and facility safety guidelines
Complete studies efficiently within a fast-paced inpatient environment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of EEG Technician experience (inpatient required)
REEGT Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
CLTM Certification (Preferred)
Active license at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
Strong neurodiagnostic and inpatient clinical experience
Ability to work 4x10 day shifts including weekends
