Technician - Painter
Job Summary
Responsibilities:

Assess vehicles to identify dents and sags requiring repair.

Assist denting personnel in removing dents and preparing surfaces.
-
Prepare vehicles for painting including surface treatment and masking.
-
Match and mix paint colors to achieve the required shades.
-
Repaint entire buses using proper surface preparation applying putty grinding leveling multiple coats and final buffing.
-
Operate spray guns and painting equipment to deliver OEMquality finishes.
-
Perform localized paint jobs following dent repairs.

Dismantle components for detailed painting and reassembly postpainting.
-
Comply with all Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations in the paint shop.

Review and follow job orders before and after painting processes.
Qualifications:
-
Education: Secondary education with technical certification in painting for light and heavy vehicles.
-
Experience: Minimum 3 years of spray painting experience with a reputed automotive dealer.

Training: OEM painting training is an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:
-
Expertise in spray painting techniques and tools.
-
Proficiency in paint color mixing and application.
-
Basic English language skills.
-
Work safety awareness and adherence to HSE practices.
-
Basic computer skills are desirable.
