About The Role
Verifone are seeking an IT Support Engineer. In this role no two days are the same - from troubleshooting and deploying new technologies to visiting offices across the EMEA region if needed youll be at the heart of our IT operations. This is a chance to broaden your technical expertise while working in a truly global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Desktop Support for our offices across EMEA
Provide Desktop Support for our EVP users in EMEA
Install configure and troubleshoot computer hardware operating systems network configurations software and IP Telephony
Liaise with the helpdesk on escalation issues
Resolve enduser application problems
Provide support and create/maintain procedural documentation
Support the rollout of new applications
Handle administrative tasks such as asset management and ordering IT assets
Travel to other EMEA offices when required
Participate in IT and facilities projects
Skills and Experience We Desire
1-3 years working experience in system support engineering.
Good understandingunderstanding of TCP/IP networking and core network fundamentals
Experience in installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both system and network issues including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults
Excellent knowledge of Mac OS and M365 applications (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint and OneDrive)
Ability to identify isolate and handle IT security issues
Comfortable liaising with external vendors on ITrelated matters
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively
Able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
Clear communication and strong organizational skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A customerfocused mindset with strong problemsolving abilities
Good English skills both written and verbal
