Compensation: Pay Rate: $50.00-$55.00 per hour (All Inclusive)
Position Summary: The Consulting RN is responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care within the Consulting Services department supporting multiple specialties including Neurology ENT Endocrinology Nephrology Cardiology and Urology. The role requires strong clinical judgment flexibility and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
Assist physicians with specialty procedures and patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-ups
Administer medications in accordance with nursing standards
Monitor cardiac status and interpret hemodynamic data
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
Cross-train across consulting specialties as required
Requirements:
Active Illinois RN License
BLS Certification (Required)
ACLS Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Preferred)
Critical Care or Cardiac Care experience (Preferred)
Additional Information: EMR System: Cerner On-Call: Not Required Holiday Coverage: Not Required Overtime: Applicable after 40 hours (weekly) 1099 Accepted: No
