Job Summary
Team Manager Programme Management (International Assessment Delivery)
The Role
In this role youll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex regulated international assessment programmes across the UK and global markets. Youll manage large-scale programmes for government and institutional clients while leading a team of Programme Managers across multiple regions. Youll balance strategic oversight with hands-on programme leadership ensuring high-quality delivery strong client relationships and sustainable operational performance in a fast-paced global environment.
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex international assessment programmes across the UK and international regions (including North Africa the Middle East and Asia).
Ensure programmes are delivered to a high standard meeting regulatory quality and client requirements.
Lead and develop a team of Programme Managers across multiple locations (including the UK and Egypt) providing coaching direction and performance management.
Build strong relationships with government and institutional clients acting as a key point of contact and managing stakeholders throughout programme delivery.
What Youll Own
Programme Leadership & Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex assessment programmes across the UK and international regions including North Africa the Middle East and Asia.
Oversee programme planning risk management and delivery within structured frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2 or equivalent).
Monitor programme performance ensuring delivery against timelines budgets and agreed outcomes.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of Programme Managers across multiple locations including the UK and Egypt.
Provide coaching direction and performance management to drive high standards of delivery.
Build team capability to support long-term programme sustainability and growth.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with government and institutional clients.
Act as a key point of contact managing expectations and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Manage daily client interactions and set clear expectations throughout programme delivery.
Communicate to identify client needs build strong knowledge of each clients organisation and objectives and evaluate alternative solutions where appropriate.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout programme delivery.
Business Growth & Solution Development
Support business development activity including input into tenders and proposals.
Contribute to the design of delivery solutions for new and existing contracts.
Lead solution design leveraging PASs organisational capabilities to meet client needs.
Transition solutions into operational reality for successful contracts.
Work collaboratively across Pearson teams to align expertise and ensure successful programme implementation.
Operational Excellence
Ensure financial oversight of programmes ensuring transparency and budget control.
Identify risks issues and opportunities escalating where appropriate.
Support the transition of new programmes into operational delivery and long-term sustainability.
About You
Were looking for someone who combines strong programme leadership with experience in assessment or education environments.
Essential Experience
Significant experience delivering complex programmes or projects ideally within education assessment or regulated environments.
Experience working with government or public sector clients.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a high-volume deadline-driven environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience in assessment delivery awarding organisations or qualifications development.
Experience working across international markets.
Familiarity with structured project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2).
Skills & Attributes

What Youll Get

Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the London office.
International scope and travel (including occasional extended periods of 46 weeks) across the UK North Africa the Middle East and Asia.
Leadership exposure and influencereporting into senior leadership with responsibility for a team of Programme Managers.
