Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and other team members are critical to this role within a high acuity fast-paced MICU environment caring for medically complex critically ill patients.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hospital home health or hospice care
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Special Considerations:
- Must be prepared to float down to tele units if census requires it.
- Care for medically complex critically ill patients including those with respiratory failure post CVL cardiac arrest with TTM multisystem organ failure various shock states CVA post TPa COVID ARDS DKA ETOH w/d.

Scheduling:
- 3x12 hour day shifts
- Weekends required
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2 week period
