Job Summary

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project plans blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
- Perform MIG TIG stick and flux-cored welding on various metals including stainless steel galvanized steel and aluminum.
- Ensure work is done safely efficiently and meets quality standards.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters grinders and hand tools.
- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
- Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- Must pass a welding test.
Physical Demands:
- This position requires working outdoors in various often extreme weather conditions including rain snow heat cold etc.
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions as safety permits.
- This position may also include exposure to loud noises dust debris and other construction-related hazards
- The ability to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to work in various weather conditions.
