**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

• A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required. Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years related work experience and three (3) years supervisory experience is required.
• Knowledge and practice within one or more of the following areas: Operating Room PACU Ambulatory Surgical Unit (Preop) and Endoscopy Departments for a minimum of 5 years perioperative staff nurse and 3 years perioperative management experience required.
• Knowledge of Sterile Processing Department
• Experience in a collective bargaining environment
• History of managing a minimum of 20 FTE
• Experience in building staffing patterns and managing staff schedules required
• Ability to promote and atmosphere which facilitates collaboration and empowerment of staff
• Demonstrated process improvement activity
• Demonstrated committee involvement
• Current Certification in perioperative practice area preferred (CNOR ASPAN ABCGN) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
