At SDR Care we are launching a brand-new highly personalised support service for an individual with autism ADHD a learning disability and complex emotional needs.


We are looking for calm consistent and compassionate people who want to help someone build independence confidence and a meaningful daily life.


This is not a generic care role it is a small highly focused person-centred service where relationships consistency and positive support truly matter.

About the Role

You will be supporting a young person to access their community build routines and enjoy meaningful daily experiences.

Activities include:

  • Cinema trips and sensory-friendly outings
  • Beach walks forest walks climbing and outdoor activities
  • Theme parks social outings and structured day trips
  • Creative play projects and engagement activities
  • Supporting independence life skills and daily routines
  • Safe community access and travel support


Every day is different and shaped around the individuals needs interests and goals.


Support Worker Key Responsibilities

13.85 per hour 36.25 hours (days) / 35.88 hours (nights rolling rota)

  • Deliver person-centred daily support
  • Promote independence wellbeing and routine
  • Support community access and activities
  • Work as part of a consistent supportive team
  • Follow care plans and accurate record keeping


Senior Support Worker Key Responsibilities

14.75 per hour 36.25 hours per week (days)

  • Lead and support a small dedicated team (3:1 support model)
  • Mentor and guide Support Workers
  • Deliver Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Support planning routines and consistency of care
  • Respond confidently to complex or challenging situations
  • Promote high-quality person-centred practice

  • Calm patient and emotionally resilient
  • Experienced in autism learning disabilities or complex needs
  • Confident using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Reliable consistent and team-focused
  • Creative flexible and solution-oriented
  • Confident drivers (essential for day shifts due to community access)
