Sheffield Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and community-focused team in London Ohio. With an established client base experienced support team and a strong reputation in the community this position offers the opportunity to step into a busy caseload while helping shape the future of the practice. For the right candidate there is potential to grow into a Chief of Staff role and play an integral part in the hospitals continued success.

What Youll Do
- Provide wellness preventive and medical care for small animal patients
- Diagnose and manage sick and urgent care cases
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
- Build lasting client relationships and contribute to the hospitals strong community presence
- Collaborate with a skilled support team to deliver high-quality medicine
- Help mentor team members and contribute to practice growth initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- DVM or equivalent licensed (or eligible) in Ohio
- Experienced veterinarian comfortable with surgery and dentistry
- Confident managing a diverse caseload and working independently
- Strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships
- Interest in mentoring leadership and practice development
- Desire to grow professionally with potential for future Chief of Staff responsibilities
While experienced veterinarians are preferred we are also open to speaking with motivated candidates seeking mentorship and long-term career growth.
Schedule
- Full-time 4-day work week (approximately 40 hours)
- Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance
- Rotating Saturdays (approximately two per month)
