Sheffield Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and community-focused team in London Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys surgery values strong client relationships and is interested in future leadership growth.
With an established client base experienced support team and a strong reputation in the community this position offers the opportunity to step into a busy caseload while helping shape the future of the practice. For the right candidate there is potential to grow into a Chief of Staff role and play an integral part in the hospitals continued success.

What Youll Do
- Provide wellness preventive and medical care for small animal patients
- Diagnose and manage sick and urgent care cases
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
- Build lasting client relationships and contribute to the hospitals strong community presence
- Collaborate with a skilled support team to deliver high-quality medicine
- Help mentor team members and contribute to practice growth initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- DVM or equivalent licensed (or eligible) in Ohio
- Experienced veterinarian comfortable with surgery and dentistry
- Confident managing a diverse caseload and working independently
- Strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships
- Interest in mentoring leadership and practice development
- Desire to grow professionally with potential for future Chief of Staff responsibilities
While experienced veterinarians are preferred we are also open to speaking with motivated candidates seeking mentorship and long-term career growth.
Schedule
- Full-time 4-day work week (approximately 40 hours)
- Flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance
- Rotating Saturdays (approximately two per month)
