We are seeking a caring reliable and enthusiastic Male Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a young individual living with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy in Hailsham.


This is much more than a care role. Youll help someone build confidence enjoy new experiences maintain their independence and take part in activities they love. Every day is different whether youre supporting a trip out in the community attending appointments enjoying outdoor activities or helping to maintain a positive daily routine.

Available Roles


Day Support Worker

29 hours per week on average - Working a rolling 4-week rota of 30.75 hours per week for three weeks followed by 23.5 hours in the fourth week.

14.15 per hour


Night Support Worker (Saturdays Only)

10.25 hours per week

13.85 per hour


What Youll Be Doing

As a valued member of our support team youll provide person-centred support tailored to the individuals needs and interests.


Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting daily routines and promoting independence
  • Accompanying and driving to appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and social opportunities
  • Providing emotional reassurance and positive encouragement
  • Supporting with personal care where required
  • Maintaining a safe structured and enjoyable environment


Activities You Could Be Supporting

The individual enjoys:

Ball games
Trampolining
Outdoor activities
Picnics and days out
Community outings and local events


Were looking for someone who enjoys being active and engaging with others.


What Were Looking For

Essential Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)


Due to the specific needs of the person we support this post is open to male applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
