Opportunities are available for engineers with experience in semiconductor foundry environments focusing on process integration yield improvement and technology transfer.
This role involves close collaboration with Taiwan-based semiconductor foundries and internal engineering teams to support new technology introduction (NTI) product ramp and high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
Key Responsibilities
Engage with foundry partners in Taiwan on process integration and manufacturing topics
Support technology transfer (NTI/NPI) and transition from development to production
Drive yield improvement defect reduction and process optimization
Analyze electrical parametric and defect data to identify trends and issues
Support product ramp and high-volume manufacturing (HVM)
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with design product and reliability teams on manufacturability
Provide inputs on process capability limitations and improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors / Masters / PhD in Electrical Engineering Materials Science or related field
7 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Process Integration (FEOL preferred)
Yield Engineering / Yield Enhancement
Device or Technology Development (fab-related)
Hands-on experience working in semiconductor fabs or foundry environments
Strong understanding of:
Semiconductor process flows
Device physics and manufacturing fundamentals
Experience in at least one of the following:
Technology transfer (NTI/NPI)
Yield ramp / high-volume manufacturing (HVM)
Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-site teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with leading foundries such as:
TSMC / UMC / VIS / PSMC / GlobalFoundries
Exposure to process technologies such as:
CMOS / BCD / NVM / FinFET
Experience supporting production ramp in fab environments
Familiarity with yield analysis SPC and statistical methods
Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English for stakeholder interaction
