What youll do
As aLead Civil Engineer in our Power Transmission & Distribution team based in Brisbaneyoullcontributeto projects and programs thatmake a real difference. Youll be part ofthe Queensland Energy group that embraces challenges welcomes diverse ideas and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
You will provide civil engineering leadership across a portfolio of Wind Solar and BESS projects in Queensland overseeing delivery from a civil engineering lens. Youll guide the planning design and coordination of civil infrastructure for renewable projectsincluding access roads pavements hardstands foundation interfaces and drainage.
Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions.
Coordinate civil works with key energy assets (wind solar BESS substations).
Support construction planning and delivery with practical buildable solutions.
Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.
Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.
What youll bring
Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrated experience delivering civil design for renewable energy projects particularly Wind Solar and/or BESS developments.
Strong expertise in civil infrastructure design including access roads pavements hardstands earthworks and drainage.
Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards design guidelines and client requirements in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
A track record of delivering practical impactful outcomes
Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
