Metrology Specialist

Job Summary
Write develop and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to support part qualification and supplier accountability.
Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs and a variety of hand gauging tools (height gauges micrometers bore gauges etc.).
Communicate inspection requirements and results effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Provide feedback to engineering and quality teams regarding inspection capabilities during planning and development phases.
Support and improve inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Complete additional tasks as required to support the metrology and quality teams.
3 years experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in CMM programming specifically with Zeiss Calypso software (any version).
Proficient in the use of hand gauging tools (height gauges micrometers bore gauges etc.).
Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrology principles.
Experience with PolyWorks CMM software is a plus.
Experience with ERP-based software is a bonus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience supporting supplier quality and accountability processes.
Location: Waukesha WI
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite per week.
