At Mad Science & Imagine Arts Academy we are having a blast. Build and fly rockets demonstrate lasers and help children create slime and other polymers. Create Art with Purpose as you discover different mediums while exploring different Art ideas and techniques from around the world. You will inspire the next generation of scientists and artists through our innovative activities that show kids what science & art is really all about.
We are currently looking for OUTGOING and DYNAMIC people to lead our Summer Camps!
- Available 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM for at least 6 weeks between June 29- Sept. 4
- Available for training during the last two weeks of June
- Must be willing to travel within the GTA - Access to a Vehicle with a Valid G or G2 License is a must!
- An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personality
- Experience with groups of children ages 4-12
- Reliable Vehicle for all working hours (A MUST!)
- A cell phone
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Lots of ENERGY
- Camp Experience a bonus!
- All employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check at time of hiring
- CPR C & First Aid Certificate required (can be obtained after hiring)
- Principals of Healthy Child Development training - High Five
- Responsible - able to conduct programs safely and efficiently
- Reliable - always on time always prepared
- Adaptable - able to adjust to every environment and group type
- Professional - comfortable dealing with everyone from parents to principals
- Flexible - able to function in a business where schedules and workloads are at the mercy of the customer
