About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager/Senior Manager to lead recruitment strategy and delivery across Japan. This role is critical to attracting top semiconductor and technology talent in one of the worlds most competitive hiring markets.

As the Japan TA lead you will partner with business leaders hiring managers HRBPs and external recruiting partners to drive hiring success across technical and corporate functions. This role offers strong career progression with opportunities to expand from leading Japan TA to broader JAPAC responsibilities and gain exposure to global Talent Acquisition initiatives workforce planning employer branding talent intelligence and TA transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and delivery across Japan.
  • Partner with senior leaders on hiring plans talent market insights and workforce needs.
  • Attract and hire semiconductor and technology talent across Automotive Communications Infrastructure Consumer Industrial and emerging technology domains.
  • Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Drive recruitment performance hiring quality candidate experience and process excellence.
  • Utilize talent analytics and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions.
  • Manage and optimize RPO providers recruitment agencies and executive search partners.
  • Strengthen employer branding and talent community engagement across Japan.
  • Collaborate with regional and global TA teams on workforce planning best practices and TA transformation initiatives

Qualifications :

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years (Manager) or 10 years (Senior Manager) in Talent Acquisition Executive Search or Recruitment Consulting.
  • Proven success hiring semiconductor engineering or technology talent.
  • Strong understanding of Japans talent market and recruitment landscape.
  • Experience managing RPO vendors agencies and executive search firms.
  • Strong stakeholder management influencing and communication skills.
  • Business-level Japanese and English proficiency.
  • Preferred

  • Experience within multinational organizations.
  • Leadership experience managing recruiters or TA teams.
  • Knowledge of Japan and APAC semiconductor talent markets.
  • Experience with talent intelligence recruitment analytics and AI-enabled recruiting tools.
  • Exposure to regional or global Talent Acquisition programs.
