Job Description Summary

MEP Project Manager will lead the planning coordination and delivery of mechanical electrical and plumbing works for projects in Japan ensuring quality safety compliance and on-time execution. This role works closely with clients consultants contractors and internal teams to manage project risks drive stakeholder alignment and support efficient end-to-end project delivery.

About the Role:

Lead MEP project delivery across planning coordination execution and closeout for projects in Japan
Strong management of mechanical electrical and plumbing works ensuring quality compliance and alignment with project requirements
Effective coordination of consultants contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain project timelines and delivery standards
Proactive risk issue and change management including escalation mitigation planning and resolution of technical or delivery challenges
Solid knowledge of Japan building regulations statutory requirements safety standards and permit or approval processes relevant to MEP works
End-to-end project oversight including review of drawings technical submittals procurement coordination testing commissioning and handover activities
Strong stakeholder collaboration working closely with clients project teams landlords suppliers and regional partners to ensure smooth delivery
Disciplined budget reporting and schedule management to support efficient and transparent project execution

About You:

5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP project management building services construction or infrastructure delivery
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Building Services Construction Management or a related field
Proven track record of managing MEP scope across complex commercial industrial or mission-critical projects
Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems across design installation testing and commissioning
Familiarity with Japan codes compliance requirements contractor management and local project delivery practices
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across internal teams consultants and external vendors
Business-level Japanese and English language capability preferred for project coordination and reporting
Proficiency in project management reporting and documentation tools such as Microsoft Office scheduling platforms and construction management systems
Proven problem-solving coordination and risk management capability in fast-paced project environments
