MEP Project Manager will lead the planning coordination and delivery of mechanical electrical and plumbing works for projects in Japan ensuring quality safety compliance and on-time execution. About the Role:
- Lead MEP project delivery across planning coordination execution and closeout for projects in Japan
- Strong management of mechanical electrical and plumbing works ensuring quality compliance and alignment with project requirements
- Effective coordination of consultants contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain project timelines and delivery standards
- Proactive risk issue and change management including escalation mitigation planning and resolution of technical or delivery challenges
- Solid knowledge of Japan building regulations statutory requirements safety standards and permit or approval processes relevant to MEP works
- End-to-end project oversight including review of drawings technical submittals procurement coordination testing commissioning and handover activities
- Strong stakeholder collaboration working closely with clients project teams landlords suppliers and regional partners to ensure smooth delivery
- Disciplined budget reporting and schedule management to support efficient and transparent project execution
About You:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP project management building services construction or infrastructure delivery
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Building Services Construction Management or a related field
- Proven track record of managing MEP scope across complex commercial industrial or mission-critical projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems across design installation testing and commissioning
- Familiarity with Japan codes compliance requirements contractor management and local project delivery practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across internal teams consultants and external vendors
- Business-level Japanese and English language capability preferred for project coordination and reporting
- Proficiency in project management reporting and documentation tools such as Microsoft Office scheduling platforms and construction management systems
- Proven problem-solving coordination and risk management capability in fast-paced project environments
