Finance Partner (Manager)

The Finance Business Partner is a finance manager responsible for providing financial leadership and business partnering support to two of Amgen Japans commercial business units. This role reports to the Senior Finance Partner and helps drive business performance investment decisions and long-term value creation.

The position combines financial expertise strong commercial acumen and advanced analytical capabilities to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The role is responsible for delivering short- and long-range forecasting business case development performance management and financial planning activities while fostering a culture of accountability continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

In addition the role will have responsibilities for advancing capabilities through adoption of innovative technologies automation and analytics.

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.

Experience in finance business partnering FP&A or commercial finance.

Fluent Japanese and English communication skills both written and verbal.

Experience within the healthcare or life sciences industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of commercial operations portfolio management forecasting and market dynamics.

Financial modeling forecasting and business case development capabilities.

Experience leveraging data analytics visualization tools automation technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

Professional finance qualification (CPA CMA ACA ACCA MBA or equivalent).

Experience supporting commercial leaders in cross-functional organizations.
