Opportunity Overview

As an early-career Field Application Engineer you will develop your technical expertise in a hands-on customer-focused role supporting advanced semiconductor test solutions. Based in Yokohama Japan you will work closely with customers R&D and global engineering teams to help develop evaluate and validate tester functionality while building strong foundations in test methodology debugging and technical communication.

• Collaborate with NAND memory test solution development engineering teams to evaluate and validate tester functionality and key features.
• Support NAND memory customers by assisting with test solution proposals system bring-up and debugging activities.
• Assist in developing and delivering training for customers on test program development and effective usage.
• Build strong technical communication skills through teamwork and customer interactions.
• Grow toward increased technical ownership and responsibility through mentorship and hands-on learning.

横浜本社を拠点にお客様研究開発R&Dチームおよびグローバルなエンジニアリングチームと密接に連携しながらテスター試験装置の機能開発評価検証を支援しますまたテスト手法デバッグ技術コミュニケーションに関する基礎を身につけていただきます

主な業務内容

• NANDメモリ向けテストソリューション開発エンジニアリングチームと協力しテスター機能や主要機能の評価検証を行う
• NANDメモリ顧客向けにテストソリューション提案システム立ち上げBring-upデバッグ業務を支援する
• テストプログラム開発や効率的な活用方法に関する顧客向けトレーニングの開発および実施を支援する
• チームワークや顧客対応を通じて高い技術コミュニケーション能力を習得する
• メンターによる指導や実務経験を通じて技術的な責任範囲を徐々に拡大していく

Bachelors degree or higher is required; an engineering major is strongly preferred.

Early-career engineer; internships lab work or academic projects are valued.

Coursework or project experience in electronics digital systems or semiconductor fundamentals.

Ability to learn complex systems and apply concepts in hands-on environments.

Knowledge of C programming

Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and the ability to read and interpret circuit schematics.

Curiosity initiative and a willingness to continuously learn.

Collaboration mindset and openness to feedback and mentorship.

Interest in NAND memory semiconductor testing or manufacturing applications.
