Job Summary
We are hiring Bus Drivers for a leading bus company in Tokyo Japan. Selected candidates will initially join as Bus Driver Trainees and receive company-sponsored training to obtain the Japanese Large Vehicle Class 2 Driving Licence.
Candidates will have the opportunity to build a long-term career in Japans passenger transportation industry and progress to operating route express and chartered buses based on experience and performance.
- Safely operate large buses on assigned routes.
- Initially operate route buses with opportunities to operate express and chartered buses based on experience and performance.
- Follow assigned routes schedules traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Ensure passenger safety and provide a comfortable travel experience.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report vehicle faults or abnormalities.
- Assist with basic bus cleaning and maintenance activities when required.
- Complete mandatory theoretical and practical driving training.
- Learn Japanese driving procedures traffic rules and bus operating standards.
- Work according to assigned shifts including early morning and late shifts.
- Maintain professional communication with passengers colleagues and supervisors.
- Follow all company policies and workplace safety procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of valid passenger car driving licence at the time of interview.
- 3 years of driving licence history preferred.
- Candidates with less than 3 years of driving licence history can also apply; additional training will be provided.
- JLPT N3 is mandatory before entering Japan.
- Only JLPT certification will be accepted.
- Must successfully pass the SSW Driver Test.
- Must be willing to obtain the Japanese Large Vehicle Class 2 Driving Licence.
- Must be willing to undergo required driving training and licence conversion procedures in Japan.
- Must successfully pass the mandatory medical examination as per employer requirements.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn Japanese driving procedures.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts including early morning and late shifts.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform bus driving duties.
- Previous professional Bus Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver experience will be an advantage.
- Company-sponsored Japanese Large Vehicle Class 2 Driving Licence acquisition.

Required Skills:
