What will your role be 

We are looking for aMechanical Design Engineer to perform the following activities: 

• Design and develop structural and semi-structural components made from composite materials (CFRP GFRP and advanced materials).

• Create 3D CAD models and the relevant technical documentation using CATIA V5.

• Define and optimise lay-ups laminations and geometries in accordance with structural performance and manufacturing requirements.

• Collaborate with the production and industrialisation teams to identify the most effective technological solutions and production processes.

• Support product prototyping testing and validation activities.

• Liaise with suppliers and technical partners to develop innovative materials and components.

• Manage design changes and updates to technical documentation.

Qualifications :

What are we looking for in you Experience and competencies 

• Minumun 3 years experience in composite design (carbon fiber glass fiber honeycomb in multiple shape)
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Knowledge of composite materials and their manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of CAD software
• Familiarity with product development methodologies

Languages: 

• Italian (Fluent)
