Analyst Financial I

Primary Functions: To support the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting financial analysis forecasting and modeling to assess business performance and investment opportunities
• Preparing reports presentations and projections for senior management or clients
• Evaluating current and historical financial data to determine company value and investment potential
• Studying business industry and economic trends to inform strategic planning
• Assisting with budgeting variance analysis and financial planning processes
• Performing ad-hoc analyses and providing recommendations for portfolios or individual investments

Qualifications/Training:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting

• 3-5 years automated accounting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel experience
• Able to handle high volume of transactions
• Month end and year end journal entries

• Prior experience at a manufacturing company is beneficial
• Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be computer literate and have some working knowledge of a general accounting systems

• Must have the ability to read write and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Hand-eye coordination.

Experience (PLUS )

• Prior Great Plains (ERP) experience preferred Prior audit experience
• Cost Accounting exposure / experience
