DevSecOps Tech Lead

Join Wixs Internal Platform Engineering (IPE) team as a DevSecOps Tech Lead! In this role youll lead a talented team of engineers driving the technical vision and execution of high-scale cloud infrastructure. Youll ensure security resilience and automation are integral to our engineering culture while pioneering the adoption of AI-driven tools.

In your day-to-day you will:  

• Lead mentor and develop the technical skills of the DevSecOps team  
• Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to design scalable and secure distributed systems evaluate planned changes and architect infrastructure blueprints  
• Build and automate multi-K8s environments microservices and internal infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform Terragrunt and Helm  
• Implement a security-first approach integrating CI/CD pipelines (GitOps) and secure-by-design infrastructure  
• Drive the adoption of AI-driven solutions for automation monitoring resilience incident response and threat intelligence  
• Oversee modern cybersecurity solutions (SIEM EDR Firewalls) and application security frameworks

Qualifications :

• 5 years of professional experience in DevOps SecOps or Infrastructure Engineering with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or mentoring role  
• In-depth understanding and production experience with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) Docker and Helm  
• Extensive knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and expertise in IaC tools like Terraform and Terragrunt  
• Proven experience with modern CI/CD methodologies and GitOps (Git)  
• Strong development experience in Python. Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript an advantage  
• Production experience on Linux-based infrastructure and strong networking foundations (TCP/IP DNS Load-balancers)  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Hebrew  

An advantage if you have:  

• Experience securing AI/LLM pipelines or utilizing AI tools for automated operations  
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and writing security procedures policies and compliance frameworks

Were responsible for defining Wixs system architecture developing and innovating enterprise solutions to meet our needs. We design cloud network and security standards and maintain our global infrastructure. Additionally we design develop and operate security services and components across Wix.
