Warehouse Operative
Naas
Mon-Fri 15.00-23.00 39 hours per week

At DSV your work keeps goods moving and supply chains running. As a Warehouse Operative you will play an important role in handling international and domestic cargo safely accurately and efficiently. Whether loading freight completing inspections or maintaining high safety standards your contribution helps deliver reliability for our customers every day.

What youll do

Load unload and handle international import export and domestic cargo safely and efficiently.
Check and document cargo condition on arrival reporting any damages discrepancies or irregularities in line with company procedures.
Complete warehouse documentation accurately and maintain operational records.
Carry out visual inspections and pre-operational checks on mechanical handling equipment reporting any faults identified.
Assess trailers before loading to ensure they are safe and suitable for operation.
Complete loading and unloading manifests and associated paperwork accurately. Training will be provided.
Follow Health & Safety procedures and comply with IMDG and ADR requirements. Training will be provided where required.
Adhere to company security quality and operational standards.
Maintain a clean safe and organised warehouse environment.
Demonstrate a high level of responsibility reliability and punctuality.
Support the team in meeting customer requirements and service expectations.


What were looking for

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certificate (essential).
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience handling import export or domestic freight would be advantageous.
Good communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing a high level of service.
Reliable responsible and safety-conscious mindset.
