The Role
This is a senior-level engineering position offering significant autonomy project ownership and customer interaction. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of complex process engineering projects from concept through to installation and commissioning while managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The role will suit an ambitious engineer who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of project delivery and is interested in progressing within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful delivery of process engineering projects.
Manage project scope timelines budgets and quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and project stakeholders.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams including process mechanical electrical and automation personnel.
Oversee procurement of materials equipment and subcontractor services.
Support commissioning validation and project handover activities.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
Mentor and support the development of junior and graduate engineers.
Assist with technical proposals quotations and customer relationship management.
Requirements
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Process Engineering or a related discipline.
Approximately 10 years or more of relevant process engineering experience.
Proven experience working within pharmaceutical biotechnology beverage brewing food processing dairy or similar manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of process equipment and systems such as CIP filtration chromatography utility systems or equivalent manufacturing processes.
Experience managing engineering projects from design through commissioning.
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
