Job Summary
Contribute to and enhance the quality of activities and events for Residents.
Supervise and support the training and development of Healthcare Assistants.
Assist with staff appraisals and performance reviews as requested.
Liaise with the Unit PIC and CNM to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for new Residents.
Help new Residents feel welcomed comfortable secure and supported.
Ensure the highest standard of care is provided by Healthcare Assistants to assigned Residents.
Participate in delegated duties involving direct Resident care and activities of daily living.
Assist Residents with personal care including washing toileting dressing and undressing.
Support Residents during dining social activities conversations and communication.
Support nursing staff with the organisation and day-to-day allocation of work
- QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalent
- Excellent track record as a high performing Healthcare worker
- Elder care experience. (2 years experience)
- Ability to motivate supervise and inspire colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent personal care abilities
