Job Summary
A new opportunity has arisen within a leading energy and infrastructure organisation for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Operations function supporting financial reporting governance and business performance across a large and complex environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own periodend close and consolidation across group and business units ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead statutory audit coordination and act as a key contact for external auditors.
- Oversee accounting and reporting controls ensuring strong governance and compliance.
- Drive finance process improvements and support transformation initiatives within Finance Operations.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA) with 2 years PQE. Experience in Energy and Infrastructure is desirable.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) and analytical capability.
- Confident communicator with experience engaging auditors and senior stakeholders.
- Proactive detailfocused and comfortable working in a complex environment.
