At AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our established and growing Cost Management team in our Dublin office.

As a Project Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide high-quality cost management and commercial advice ensuring clients achieve value for money while meeting programme quality and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cost management services throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost estimates cost plans and feasibility studies.
• Assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation.
• Manage tender processes analyse bids and prepare tender reports.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and other contract documentation where required.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reporting.
• Assess variations change control and value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with the relevant forms of contract.
• Identify and manage commercial risks throughout project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support senior team members in delivering complex high-value projects.
• Mentor graduate quantity surveyors where appropriate.

Projects Youll Work On

Youll have the opportunity to contribute to a varied portfolio of projects including:

• Acute and community healthcare facilities
• Primary secondary and higher education developments
• Hotels and hospitality schemes
• Residential and mixed-use developments
• Public sector capital programmes
• Private developer-led projects

Heres what were looking for:

As the successful candidate you will have experience working across a range of sectors and will possess the following qualifications skills and experience:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Membership of or working towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent professional body.
• Experience administering and working with JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Experience in measurement and quantification including the use of CostX software.
• Experience in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and cost planning
