Job Summary
Location: Limerick Ireland
Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of a major industrial construction project.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical construction activities from planning through to completion.
- Lead engineers supervisors subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensure full compliance with health safety and quality requirements.
- Develop construction plans schedules and subcontractor work packages.
- Coordinate equipment installation piping fabrication installation and pressure testing.
- Monitor project progress costs variations and subcontractor performance.
- Work closely with engineering planning commercial and QA/QC teams.
- Attend client and internal project meetings.
- Prepare progress reports and project handover documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with drawings technical specifications and industry standards.
Candidate profile
- At least 57 years relevant experience as a Construction Manager or Project Engineer.
- Experience delivering complex mechanical construction projects including equipment installation piping fabrication piping installation and pressure testing.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical biotechnology semiconductor or oil and gas sectors is preferred. However candidates from other technically demanding industrial environments will also be considered.
- International candidates with relevant experience who are open to relocating to Limerick are encouraged to apply.
- Degree in Construction Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong leadership planning communication and negotiation skills.
