Employment: Full-time

Salary: 50k -60k depending on experience

Our clientare looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team delivering installation servicing and maintenance across a range of customer sites.

This role would suit someone with strong technical skills a practical approach to fault-finding and the ability to work independently while providing a professional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install commission service and maintain fire alarm systems intruder alarms CCTV and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently keeping customers informed of progress.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive service calls.
• Test systems and record findings defects and recommended remedial works.
• Complete accurate service reports commissioning records and customer handover documentation.
• Work closely with the scheduling team and other engineers to complete jobs within agreed timeframes.
• Follow applicable standards manufacturer requirements and company health and safety procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rota where required.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a Fire & Security Engineer role.
• Practical experience installing servicing and troubleshooting fire and security systems.
• A relevant electrical electronic or technical qualification would be an advantage.
• Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
• Ability to manage your workload and work independently or as part of a team.
• Full driving licence.
